Also- the UPA government has given figures of 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus killed in the riots- the link for which is already given. 2000 people cannot be considered to be ‘butchered’- when hundreds of people from both communities have been killed. Also-the community whose 2000 members you claim to have been ‘butchered’ has had other members convicted for rioting and attacking Hindus even after Godhra- which proves that its members were equally on the offensive.

The fact is- that Modi frantically called the Army to Ahmedabad within 1 hour of the start of the riots. The Hindu- published from Chennai reported in its issue dated 1st March 2002- Friday- that Modi “Frantically called the Army to Gujarat”.

Well- Ehsan Jafri’s son has himself denied that his sisters were raped. We are sorry for saying this- but before debating with us- kindly come prepared instead of just parroting arguments said by others. (In this case- you are simply copying what Arundhati Roy said- who had copied what Time magazine said in an article by Meenakshi Ganguly). You dont even seem to have read the article- “Myth 11 :In Ehsan Jafri case- women were raped”- but simply gone from what you saw from outside. If you read that article- you will know that even Arundhati Roy accepted her mistake- and admitted that Jafri’s daughters were not raped. And as for justice- the relatives of those killed have been compensated by the Gujarat Government-with 204 crore rupees being spent- as per Sriprakash Jaiswal’s statement in Parliament on 11 May 2005. Rs 1.5 lakh were paid to the kin of each person killed.

There may be 1 error. Immediately after Godhra and the reports of initial rioting cases in and around Godhra, Narendra Modi DID call the army as you have stated. However, I wish to go into a little more detail and clarify a few things. 1) As the admin has correctly stated on 27th February itself frantic requests were made by Modi to call the army to the state from the Borders of Gujarat – Pak. However, the army could not come. Why? Because if your memory serves you right and this is ON record, that the army stationed at the Guj-Pak border politely asked the CM to approach the central govt as they could not leave their post because of 2001 Parliament attack and Kargil which had happened in just 2 yrs before the riots. Becoz of this Modi was asked to approach Centre. While the army at Guj border was tied up with the country’s defence, Modi sent letters to the CM of Maharashtra+Rajasthan+madhya Pradesh. All neighboring states of Gujaraat. All Congress ruled states. He requested them to send their police forces to Gujarat. ALL REFUSED. ALL. Because of this extraordinary development the only option now was to get the army rom newhere possible. Hence Modi approached the Centre. First Incidents of riots were reported in the early hours of 28th feb. Even before this Modi Got had made its moves. On 28th after refusal from congress ruled states central govt had to go into full swing to bring in army airlifted from other stations. ON 28th MIDNIGHT army already reached gujarat!! Fastest in the history of Indian riots! Before or after 2002! Even in Assam 2012 army did not reach within 24 hours! This is the truth.. this is the reality of the congress ruled states…

Great work admin as you are letting people to know correct news and creating awareness among the society.
It was misconception spread by UPA led congress that only muslims killed during the roits. Both Hindu and Muslims are killed in the riots.

your site is biased and telling one sided story as well as justifying the massacre which took place in Gujrat under the nose as well as on the will of your Hero Narendra Modi whom many consider a Racist and an extremist. You are not only justifying the massacre but also displaying your own view on such a tragedy where an acting CM along with his Police department, which is full of Saffron-Terrorists, played a vital part in killing, raping, burning innocent Muslims.
I am not going for a lengthy discussion on this subject because i do not need your opinion to call a criminal a criminal which in Modi’s case is very obvious. As a criminal he (Modi) should be trial at ICC and punished for crime against Humanity. But i will leave you a statement made by Modi which gave the Hindu Saffron Terrorist the motive and encouragement to kill, rape, burn women, children, old and young alike. Those were innocent Muslims killed at the will of your Hero Narendra Racist Modi.

Women were not only raped multiple time, their breast were chopped, their belly were slit and unborn infants were taken and thrown into the fire. Even their sexual parts were damaged. The police were on the spot but instead of helping the needy they helped there Brothers. That’s how secular your Saffron-Terrorist Hindus are and you are not excluded from them my dear.

Fundamentalism is not a Hindu trait and has never been. All those who disagree should put up all examples, from world history, of use of violence to convert people into Hiduism. destruction of their house of worship to build Hindu Temples, defiling of women/children/the weak in the name of religion.

I’d like to ask you if the army was posted within an hour of the riots then why the riots took place in the first place dont you think the toll should be a little less. 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus were killed and 223 more people were reported missing.[5][6] 523 places of worship were damaged: 298 dargahs, 205 mosques, 17 temples, and 3 churches. Muslim-owned businesses suffered the bulk of the damage. 61,000 Muslims and 10,000 Hindus fled their homes. THAT WAS JUST THE OFFICIAL STATEMENTS Unofficial estimates put the death toll closer to 5000, with Muslims forming a very much higher proportion of those killed with a few Hindus
